Each thin-wall heat-shrinktubing not only provides superior mechanical, abrasion and moisture protection butalso strengthens connections and provides a comfortable gripping surface. As aresult, professional and DIY multi-purpose uses include repairing cords (ranging fromlarge appliance cords to small electronic cables that show wear at pull-out); coveringtool and sporting equipment handles; and sealing rope for neat, unravel resistantends. Upon heating to 120â?° C (250â?° F) the tubing begins to shrink but will not drip,crack, or flow. Plus, it is self-extinguishing within 30 seconds.
